Great stuff Lou. I will have more to say shortly. As for the sidebar stuff: find the links and add to your test blog in a post. Having several people contribute means the sidebar gets done sooner. James - same idea. Additions /comments are welcome.

Everyone - David is a Victorian who I hope will be my assistant when I do local workshops. He is new to both Flickr and Blogger. I am starting him with blogger. Please make yourself available if he asks for help.

David - check here at least once a week. Minimum contribution is one post a month. People help people here.
Your first lesson: Find news stories or websites that interest you.
1. Link to them and write short posts (in your test blog) about them.
2. The green infinity sign above is for making links.
3. Just highlight a word and click on the 'insert link' (green button), and paste the link.
4. Save as draft.
5. Reopen the post.
6. Click preview.
7. Click on the link to make sure it works.
8. Publish post.

Look at other members blogs to get ideas.
